SAP Retail Store User

SAP Retail Store User is a Named User working in Licensee’s retail store as an associate who is solely authorized to perform non-managerial retail store / point-of-sale related roles supported by the licensed Software (excluding SBOP) and also includes the rights granted under the SAP Application Employee User.

SAP AFS as a part of solutions suite will enable your company to manage its sophisticated supply chains, consisting of international raw materials suppliers and contract manufacturers.

It will also provide a fully integrated system to enable a single, common view across orders, products, and inventory, enabling better customer order fulfillment says. It will bring together procuring, manufacturing, wholesale, and retail business operations onto a single platform.

SAP systems, are fully integrated business real-time systems which enable transactions to be processed end-to-end and eliminate data inconsistencies between sub-systems. They also help in marketing and advertising departments to better collaborate and manage the complexity of planning profitable promotions across multiple channels.

 

 

SAP Point-of-Sale

SAP Point-of-Sale (SAP POS) is a flexible, easy-to-use, and feature-rich POS for client-server environments. Designed for general merchandise and multi-format retailers, SAP POS provides a highly-configurable POS solution suite that allows you to quickly and easily configure your specific business requirements without the need for additional custom development.



In addition to the POS application, SAP POS includes a powerful store-level management application to handle in-store and back-office functions such as reporting, time and attendance-tracking, file maintenance, cash management, label and sign printing, and store-level inventory control.



SAP Hybris Commerce

By implementing SAP Hybris Commerce, You can both simplify your back-end operations and gained access to valuable sales data that it will be using to optimize your website. Still powered by Hybris Commerce, your website will include new payment and shipping options, and continue to provide customers with access to inventory across each of the your company’s channels, including mobile applications and in-store kiosks.

SAP Anywhere

SAP Anywhere is specifically designed for retail-focused SMBs with 10 to 200 employees. The platform covers a litany of multichannel retail needs, such as managing retail store sales, creating a website or online store, designing marketing campaigns, managing inventory and analyzing business performance -- all with a mobile friendly design that plays nice with smartphones and tablets.

On the data front, SAP Anywhere integrates real-time information from back-office software with data from both internal and external sources to speed business decision making. There's also a unified order management system that can factor in actual inventory data.

SAP Anywhere comes with built-in integrations to eBay and Amazon for online selling, PayPal for payments services, MailChimp and Constant Contact for marketing services, as well as to Google for online advertising. A logistics integration is also in the works with UPS.

SAP XM

SAP XM is a cloud-based platform SAP Exchange Media (SAP XM). Built on SAP HANA, SAP XM is described as an online media network designed to shorten the traditional media buying process. According to SAP, the platform acts as a bridge between advertisers and publishers by linking brands and retail, ad budgets and inventory, and billing and collections.

SAP RemoteWare

Track sales, update files and software, control store technology remotely, support heterogeneous environments and manage content.

  • Collect sales data from store locations
  • Publish and deliver marketing, sales and training materials to store employees
  • Distribute security and software updates to all stores’ hardware and applications
  • Remotely diagnose and troubleshoot in-store PCs

RemoteWare Server Capacity

Capacity is expressed as 4/100, 8/250, 16/500, 16/U, 32/U, or 64/U. The first number indicates the number of concurrent sessions supported by the Server, and the second number indicates the maximum number of clients supported by the Server. Where the second number is U, this represents 16,000 clients.


For example, 4/100 means the RemoteWare Server will support up to 4 concurrent sessions and 100 total clients; 64/U means the RemoteWare Server will support up to 64 concurrent sessions and 16,000 total clients. The Server capacity must not be less than the number of clients licensed. For example, the 4/100 Server will support up to 100 clients; if the customer is deploying more than 100 clients, they must purchase a larger server such as the 8/250.



RemoteWare Cluster Option

The Cluster Option permits the customer to configure up to six (6) RemoteWare Servers in a cluster, where each RemoteWare Server is of the stated capacity. Each RemoteWare Server in a cluster must be of the same capacity (e.g., all 8/250 or all 16/500, etc.).

 

 
SAP RemoteWare Basic Client

Server Software is the Software module(s) installed on a single network or file server computer (“Server”) that manages and controls the automated exchanges of information with Clients through various telecommunication channels.


Client Software is the Software module(s) that runs on remote computers (“Clients”) and which facilitates communications with the Server. Initial Client software is the first RemoteWare Basic Client component installed by customer at each customer location.




 

 
SAP RemoteWare Supplementary Client

Supplementary Client software is each additional RemoteWare Basic Client component installed at the same location as an Initial Client.


Supplementary Clients may only be installed at a location where an Initial Client is in Use.
