On behalf of our referral partner GoC client, we are searching for an SAP Release and Change Manager to assist with the retendering of a large scale contract, of which our referral partner is listed as the prime incumbent.  This contract is for various roles to support the continuous improvement,  stabilization and enhancement (Run/Stabilization Phase) of the SAP solution.

Located in Downtown Gatineau, this contract shall run from ASAP and last for up to 3.5 years.

Job Tasks

Ensures that the change request management process is followed and that only authorized changes are implemented
Ensures changes conform to process standards and principles
Coordinates the collection and presentation of RfCs to CRB and CAB
Receives and validates initial priorities to RfCs, updates change status, closes RfCs
Return RfCs that do not meet the defined requirements
Refers Requests for Change to Service Providers for impact analysis and to help identify areas of possible impact
Monitors on-going progress of changes through their lifecycle
Tables and circulates all RfCs, Agendas and other pertinent material for CRB and CAB meetings
Approves RfCs on behalf of the CAB (within tool)
Support Post Implementation Review (PIR) activities for all changes
Participates in other process initiatives and process reviews
Manages the urgent category changes and escalation process

Analyzes change records to detect any trends or problems and proposes actions to rectify apparent weak areas in the change request management process and supporting technologies

Communicates and tracks the status of changes to Change Requestors and key stakeholders

Documents results of production change request management

Reviews effectiveness and efficiency of the change request management process and identifies opportunities for process improvement

Defines and develops change request management process metrics and reporting requirements

Ensures change request management process, sub-processes and tools integrate with other processes (e.g. Release and Deployment Management)
