2 Positions to Fill. Our referral partner valued client in the Defense Sector is looking for Technical Support resources for their Kanata location. The successful candidates will work with an existing team to help eleviate a backlog that is currently developing. The role will run from ASAP to mid-December.

The successful candiadte will provide technical, operations, and training support to users of companys personal computers either by telephone or on-site relative to desktop hardware and software packages. Performs hardware diagnostics and coordinates repairs. Assists in planning and designing personal computer support systems. Acts as liaison for data transfer systems design and implementation. Installs and tests personal computers, printers, and other peripherals; configures operating system, shrink-wrap programs, and applications software programs. Develops reports and databases. Provides technical support for personal computers.

Specialization and Skills

Help Desk/Entry Level A+ Certified < 2 years

Desktop Support Technician 2 - 4 years

MCSE < 2 years

Additional Requirements

Please describe your most recent experience in a similar position. (Must-have) Preference will be given to candidates with existing GoC security clearance. Criminal background check required. (Must-have) The role will require someone who is professional and comfortable interacting with high level executives in person, as well as someone with great communication skills. (Must-have)
